Views from the Trail

Through the Eyes of Kate and Scott B.!

Kate and Scott on Ireland’s West Coast with Parallel this spring

In our newest feature, “Views from the Trail,” we are asking Parallelians to caption some of their favorite shots from their Parallel adventure in their own words.

Kate and Scott left their home in coastal Maine to join us in Ireland this spring – and took some truly outstanding pictures while they were there. Read on for a glimpse into their trip to Ireland in May 2026 with us.

“Freaky rocks in a windy pass. Truly spectacular hiking.”

“Sun, wind, rain, even a bit of flurries, and then back to sun – the Kerry Way was a constantly changing mix of conditions, and it was great!”

“Looking across Rossbeigh Strand to the Dingle Peninsula and the next phase of the trip. Kind of spooky.”

“The gardens at Muckross House [on the outskirts of Killarney] were spectacular in May. And Jamie, Kate, and Annie were very photogenic too.”

“The rain-washed streets of Dingle were colorful and crowd-free in the early morning.

(They were also pretty lively the night before.)”

Thank you, Kate and Scott, for a glimpse of Ireland through your eyes!
