CHAD OLCOTT
Founder and Director
Chad is a life-long adventurer with more than 20 years working in and around the outdoor industry, an advisory director with the youth-oriented Apogee Adventures, and a practicing attorney. In his free time, you’ll likely find him hiking through European hills or casting a line in the waters of Casco Bay, Maine, where he lives with his wife, Susan, and two daughters.
ANNIKA NYGREN
Communications and Operations Manager
Annika is a passionate traveler and outdoorswoman. Nomadic since 2021, Annika has had the privilege of traveling to five continents and 30+ countries, now calling Portugal home. Prior to her vagabonding, Annika taught kindergarten in Boulder where she also honed her skills in all things backcountry and wilderness. Over the past few years, she’s guided teens and adults through adventure trips across the U.S., Central America, and Europe, directed youth programs with in Costa Rica, and taught international 200-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings. When she’s not prepping for Parallel trips, she’s probably surfing, hiking, sipping cacao, practicing Spanish and Portuguese, making a snack, or playing the ukulele.
